Your Responsibilities:

Machine Maintenance

• Maintenance & Repair of CNC Milling Machines: You will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our CNC milling machines (focus on Hermle).
• Maintenance & Repair of CNC Lathes: You will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of CNC lathes (Doosan and DMG).

• CNC Manufacturing: You produce precision components in single-piece and small-batch production according to technical drawings, working in a three-shift system (38.75-hour work week).

Complaint Management:

• Analysis and processing of complaints: Conduct detailed analyses of customer and internal complaints, including the preparation of 8D reports and the execution of root cause analyses to systematically identify the sources of failure.

• Creation and maintenance of process FMEAs: Actively support the creation, updating, and structured maintenance of process FMEAs in accordance with internal and customer-specific requirements.
• Feedback of field data: Ensure that insights from complaints, audits, and field data are systematically incorporated into the P-FMEA to continuously minimize risks.
• Coordination with internal departments: Work closely with production, development, and process planning teams to derive preventive measures and ensure their implementation.
• Moderation & training: Facilitate FMEA workshops and train relevant stakeholders to ensure a unified understanding of risks and measures.

Quality Improvement:

• Analysis of quality-related indicators: Evaluate key quality metrics, identify improvement potential, and derive targeted measures to systematically enhance product and process quality.
• Audit support: Assist in the preparation, execution, and follow-up of internal and customer audits, contributing to the sustainable implementation of defined actions.
• Continuous improvement of the QMS: Actively contribute to the optimization and further development of the existing quality management system to increase efficiency, transparency, and process reliability.

Your Profile:

• Completed technical training with further qualification as a state-certified technician or a comparable qualification.
• Methodological knowledge in complaint management (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, problem solving, etc.).
• Experience in the automotive and/or aerospace sector.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in complaint management.
• Further training as a quality technician, internal auditor, or comparable qualification (VDA 6.3 process auditor desirable).

Your Responsibilities:

• Advanced Quality Planning: Ensure the timely and accurate execution of advanced quality planning in accordance with customer requirements.
• Sample Submission Planning: Plan and manage initial sample submissions in compliance with VDA Volume 2, PPAP, and FAI.
• Interface Coordination: Conduct detailed coordination between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth implementation of requirements.
• Milestone Planning: Create and manage milestone plans to fulfill customer requirements within the scope of initial sample submissions.
• Costing Support: Assist in the cost calculation of customer requirements with regard to sample submission and PPAP scopes.
• FMEA Moderation: Facilitate structured workshops for the creation of process FMEAs in close collaboration with the relevant departments.
• Measurement & Test Planning: Develop measurement and inspection strategies, production control plans (PCPs), inspection plans, and process flow diagrams.
• Characteristic Alignment: Coordinate detailed alignment with customers on critical product and process characteristics.
• Budget Monitoring: Monitor the budget related to sample submission activities and advanced quality planning measures.
• Procurement Support: Support the procurement process within the context of initial sample submissions and the PPAP process.
• Customer Visits: Accompany the responsible project manager during customer visits as part of advanced quality planning.
• Supplier Visits: Conduct supplier visits together with procurement, internal departments, and support functions to facilitate advanced quality planning.

Your Profile:

• Completed vocational training in the metalworking field, supplemented by further qualification as a technician or master craftsman.
• Knowledge of materials science (metals, composite materials, surfaces).
• Experience in the automotive sector.
• Experience with active aerodynamic systems or mechatronic components is an advantage.
• Methodological competence in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
• Knowledge of initial sample inspection methods in the automotive and/or aerospace industry (VDA, PPAP, FAI).
• Product knowledge in the performance vehicle sector (chassis, drivetrain).
• Familiarity with FMEA, control plans (PLP), and 8D reports.
